Emerging science
Peptides, without the hype.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that can act as biological signals within the body. Researchers are studying different peptides across areas including tissue repair, inflammation, metabolic function and aging.
That is a description of a research area. It is not a claim that a specific product produces a specific clinical outcome in dogs.
Educational model only. A signal is not a proven treatment. Response depends on the peptide, the species, the dose and the quality of the evidence.
How we classify what we say
Published evidence, preclinical research, veterinary evidence, emerging work and Better Years hypotheses are different things. We keep them different on purpose.
Better Years exists to thoughtfully explore where emerging science may have a role in helping animals live healthier lives. Peptides are a wedge. Pet longevity is the category.
